Laura & James : Engagement | Toronto Waterfront Portrait Photography

Laura and James are just plain awesome. They’re really easy going and so in love with each other.

They knew of one another after months of playing dodgeball together, but finally broke the ice when they coincidentally ran into each other one day in the city. A little flirty exchange and a spark was lit!

I can’t wait to see these two get married next year!

Enjoy! xx

Tanya & Nick : Engagement | Whitby Heber Down Portrait Photography

This couple is so much fun.

Luckily, we had a gorgeous day, after all that yucky October cold wind and rain. The sun came out and and the warm air surrounded us. Tanya knows her way around Heber Down Conservation Area much better than I do because she grew up in the area. I followed these two around and captured a few photos in between laughs. They are such naturals and so, so, so in love.

I’m really looking forward to their big day next year!
Enjoy! xx

Holly & Matthew’s Family | Toronto Family Photography

These two high school sweethearts have the sweetest story.

They both grew up in the same town, graduated from the same university, traveled together all over the world for a year and were married on 07/07/07 (which means they just had their 7th anniversary) at the same place Matt’s grandparents were married and also the same place his grandparents celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

The cutest cherry on top of the cutest love story? Amelia.

Their darling baby girl came into their lives 7 months ago. She’s a feisty, loving and often serious little girl and they are just head over heels in love with her. After spending a few hours with her, I fell in love with her myself! It is easy to see why! She’s got the most adorable smile AND the most adorable pout. Also, she did not cry when I sang the alphabet to her (bonus points for Amelia… and bonus points for her parents for not crying over my singing).

While some of Holly and Matt’s favourite pre-baby activities included traveling, camping and watching football, their favourite post-baby activity is… watching the baby. And I totally get it. Those cheeks and those big gorgeous eyes just cannot be ignored. I got to watch her have a rice cereal snack, and watching her cheeks while her little mouth chomped on the food was just the cutest thing ever.

Thank you for spending a beautiful fall morning with me! Truly had a blast.

Enjoy! xx
