Lovely Little Packaging | Durham Region Wedding & Portrait Photographer
I’m excited to share my new packaging with you today! Previously, I sent clients their final digital files on a personalized DVD. A few months ago, I contacted a fabulous company called Flashbay to create custom USB flash drives that will replace the DVDs. I thought it over for several weeks and then finally decided to go for it. I don’t know why I waited so long because I’m absolutely thrilled about these little beauties!
It’s an appropriate time to make the switch to flash drives for a few reasons:
- Simple convenience. It’s a great, portable means for clients to bring their digital images with them to share with friends and family.
- Technology is changing. Newer computers are no longer being manufactured with a built-in optical disc drive. DVDs and CDs are gradually becoming a thing of the past.
- It’s completely re-useable. Clients can use a USB flash drive to store files over and over again, once they have backed up their images safely on their own hard drives.
- Let’s not forget…. it’s totally cute.
Here’s a little peek at what my current packaging for clients looks like. As time rolls on, I’m sure there are a few changes and additional details that will be introduced, but I am loving the look so far. I would love to know what you think!

You give it a little twist and the USB component pops out.

I add a handwritten thank you note to let clients know how grateful I am for their business, along with a few paper products and some pretty ribbon for the finishing touches.

The final products are slipped into an adorable bag. I am also working on getting my 2013 clients a little surprise gift as a token of my appreciation.

Voilà! There you have it! Enjoy!
