Oliver | Toronto Newborn Photography

Krysta and Aubrey welcomed their newborn son, Oliver, to their family just six days before this portrait session. His parents are completely enchanted by him. He is tiny and beautiful.

Life with Baby Oliver is going to be pretty sweet!

Side note: if you are expecting or know anyone expecting a baby, you should check out Rockabye Baby Music. These albums feature lullaby renditions of tracks by amazing artists like Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Bjork and Radiohead. We had the albums playing in the background during our session and Oliver slept peacefully while us adults listened to our favourite songs in lullaby version and played “Name that Tune”. Highly recommended!

Lora and Ray are married! These two are very, very special to me.

I have known Lora for almost 25 years! She has seen me through some of the best and worst years of my life, she has been there when I made good and not-so-good decisions in my past and laughed with me through all of those awkward teenage years.

Last fall I had the honour of being a bridesmaid on Lora and Ray’s wedding day. They have been married for a few months, so I happily documented the couple’s first days in the their brand new home. Love these guys with all my heart and I’m extremely excited for all the happiness in store for their future.

The Happiness Jar : Year’s End 2012

This year we are adding a new tradition in our family: We have a Happiness Jar in our home.
It might be an empty jar today, but throughout the year we will fill it with notes of memories and happenings that made us smile. Next New Year’s Eve, we’ll open up the jar and read about all the occasions that made the year so wonderful.

2012 was unbelievable, personally and professionally. The year’s events have carved a pretty exciting path for the future. I’m really looking forward to the new adventures that lie ahead in 2013.
